Announcing the 2025 Annual Meeting theme!

As we ring in the new year, the US DOHaD Society is excited to announce the theme for our 9th Annual Meeting: Beyond 1000 Days! With this theme, we aim to broaden and deepen the conversation about Developmental Origins of Health and Disease and the critical periods that shape lifelong health.

Why “Beyond 1000 Days”?

DOHaD research has emphasized the significance of “the first 1000 days” as foundational for development and long-term wellbeing. This year’s conference theme brings that focus to the next level, highlighting the interconnected factors that influence risk and resilience. From the preconceptual health of both parents to environmental exposures across the lifespan to influences on aging and lifelong health, there are many complex challenges for our field to consider when it comes to improving health outcomes for individuals and families.

What to Expect at the Meeting

  • Keynote presentations from leading researchers and new investigators in preconception health, early development, environmental exposures, and aging
  • Symposia of abstract presentations highlighting the latest findings in developmental and reproductive biology, epigenetics, and population health
  • Networking opportunities to connect with DOHaD colleagues from different disciplines across the country
  • Professional development workshops for Trainees during Trainee Day: Beyond the Science (July 30th)
