The 13th World Congress of the International Society for Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) in Buenos Aires, Argentina is right around the corner happening on September 7-10th! This conference will unite leading researchers, clinical professionals, public health experts, educators, and policymakers from around the globe, all dedicated to addressing the vital mission of reducing the global burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and combating susceptibility to infectious diseases across generations. The theme for the congress, DOHaD: A Bridge Towards One Health, underscores the crucial interdependence of human, animal, and environmental health. By merging the DOHaD and One Health concepts, the congress encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and holistic approaches to health challenges, while also highlighting the impacts of climate change on global health.
